So, we asked our founder to provide different ways entrepreneurs can take steps to prioritize their mental health!
SANDRA’S TOP FIVE TIPS:
- Have a specific time that you start and stop working. As an entrepreneur, the work is never over, but you have to let your mind rest so you can be productive the next day.
- Book alone time with yourself! As an entrepreneur you get pulled in a hundred different directions. Always take time to get centered and remember why you are doing what you are doing. The morning is a great time to ask for clarity, protection, and focus.
- Don’t compare and despair. We are all on our own journeys. Focus on your own road.
- End each day with gratitude.
- Don’t allow anyone to have your time. This is a big one. Learning to say NO is KEY to protecting your mental health.
As an entrepreneur, you must create boundaries and regain balance between your career and life. Little steps such as these will allow you to feel less overwhelmed and allow you to have a clearer focus.
