Shampoo Bar, Moisturize + Shine

Nopalara Balance and Repair Shampoo Bar was a unique experience for me. Not only have I never used a bar shampoo before, but I’ve never used a product with balancing, repairing, and strengthening properties.

First, the smell was very light and fresh. It wasn’t quite floral, more of an aromatic smell if anything.

Second, the texture was just like your typical liquid shampoo once you got the bar wet. I would get the bar wet in the shower and then rub the bar directly to my hair, making sure to get the top, sides, and underneath. Getting enough product to clean my hair only took a few passes. I was left with a beautiful lather, allowing me to completely clean my hair and scalp using a lot less product than I would typically use with a liquid shampoo.

Now, onto the results. After shampooing, my hair was squeaky clean. After my first use, I was nervous; my hair was stripped of its natural oils, but that wasn’t the case at all. Coincidently enough, once dried, my hair was soft, clean, and impeccably shiny.

In conclusion, I was extremely impressed with the shampoo in general and will most definitely continue to use it and restock once gone. The only reason I didn’t give it full stars is because I didn’t notice my hair being less oily. It’s worth noting that I didn’t expect those results as my oily scalp isn’t because of unhealthy habits or product buildup, it’s genetics pure and simple. I am new to shampoo bars so, I wanted to try this Nopalera balance + repair shampoo bar. My first thought is, this would be very convenient for travel. It’s also more eco-friendly. However, after using the shampoo bar, I am in love! It is definitely not just for convenience and travel. It lathered unbelievably well. My scalp feels fresh and clean. My hair looks clean and shiny. It has a very nice fragrance. It’s a mix between Shea, butter and Coco. The fragrance is very long lasting and my hair smells amazing all the way up to my next shampoo. My hair was way more manageable and it’s so easy to use. You cup the bar in the palm of your wet hand and smooth it directly onto your wet hair from root to tip. I made sure it coated my hair from root to end, then I worked it into a lather and massaged it into my scalp. It’s like a bottle of shampoo in a bar! I think this is a great concept. I think this is a great product and I can’t wait to try more products from this brand!

This is my first time trying a shampoo bar, so I was skeptical. Using it several times and seeing how much my hair health improved! I have thick hair, and suffer from scalp soreness and washing my hair is one thing that helps. This soothes my scalp and makes my scalp feel so much better! Using a shampoo bar is SO much easier, making sure my whole head and scalp are clean! In my opinion it was much easier to apply! I have textured and dry and this leaves my hair feeling moisturized after each wash. A little goes a long way and I also love that its safer for the environment, no more plastic bottles!Lathers beautifully and is enriched with Blue Agave Extract and Aloe Vera which both nourishes and strengthens your locks. ONE shampoo bar is equivalent to TWO, 8.5 oz bottles of shampoo. It's Color Safe, pH Balanced and free from Sulfates, Parabens, Silicones and Phthalates. I absolutely recommend! I definitely plan to use shampoo bars from now on!

As a beauty enthusiast on her self care journey i am always excited to try new products that provide visible and lasting results. And i think i have found my new favorite shampoo. Nopalera‚Äôs Solid shampoo bar has made itself a must in my hair care routine. I will be honest, i was a little hesitant about the soap bar. It doesn‚Äôt really scream moisturizing,but boy was i wrong. I was totally surprised by how easy it was to create a lather. Initially i did a few too many swipes over my head to create a lather but quickly learned that one swipe over each section is all that is needed. 1 bar truly does equal two liquid shampoo bottles. But thats not all, the ease with which it rinsed off is even more surprising than the lather. Usually i require two washes at least to feel clean and rid of all the hair product residue and a third wash with conditioner to detangle and moisturize my hair. But with Nopalera‚Äôs bar shampoo on my first wash i could feel the difference in my hair. My hair felt completely clean, easily detangled without the need of any conditioner. Something that has never happened before. I am happy to say i was pleasantly surprised by this small bar. And let‚Äôs not forget how wonderful it smells, the clean fresh scent lingers on even after the wash. After the wash my scalp was not dry and my hair felt very soft. I did pair this shampoo with my regular hair products and it worked well with them as well. Not leaving my hair frizzy or unruly. And last but not least,…
